Help with hooking up a Powered Subwoofer?
I have a stereo system set up at home where I play music through my computer and it comes out of the 1/8th inch jack and I have a cable that switches that to two 1/4th inch jacks that go into 2 inputs of a crown ce 2000 Watt Amplifier that I have. Then I have Two Speakon cables which run out of two different outputs to two Jbl Jrx 115 Speaker Cabinets I have. I am thinking of adding a Powered subwoofer into the setup and have no idea what equipment I need to go about doing that, since its powered theres no need to go through the amplifier. Also the amplifier only has the two inputs and two outputs and no special connection for a subwoofer at all (let alone a powered one). I am thinking I will need something between the 1/8th jack on the computer and the two 1/4 inch jacks on the amplifier that can send out a signal to the powered subwoofer, but then still send out the two output channels to the amplifier (so its still stereo). Any idea what equipment is best for doing this?
You don't want to send the lows to your JRX115s if you're using a subwoofer, or two subwoofers. It causes cancellation problems which makes your bass sound quieter. You want the lows going to your sub, or subs & the highs going to your JRX115 speakers.

Using Power Amp Crown CE2000 in bridge mono mode?
In manual book , there is direction :
" Outputs: connect the psaker across the positive(+) output terminals . Do not use the negative(-) terminals when the amp is being operated in bridge mono mode....".
As I learn , I connect input sysnal to channel 1 , then confuse about output as describe above . If I use banana or biding post , I will use positive channel 1 as positive output , and positive channel 2 as negative output . In case I want to use speakon connector , I use speakon channel 1 only like the picture in manual book . So , in this way , the negative channel 1 is already used in mono mode while manual book says not to use it .
Anyone help ?
Steven - Bridging an amp correctly is very important. You really need to read your manual carefully.
I just looked at your manual online:
Feed the signal to channel one. On speakon channel one output connect pin 1+ to speaker plus and 2+ to speaker minus. Thats it.
Bridging a power amp is a great way to get all the amps power for a sub or whatever but you need to be careful to do it right.

How do I connect my preamp to my speakers?
I have a Behringer Europower PMP2000 and I need to know if the Two Speakon cables I bought can connect it to my two Peavey PV215 speakers. There are two 1/4 inch cable jacks on the back of each speaker and a few speakon jacks on the back of the preamp... Are there any adapters or anything that I need or do I need to return the Speakon Cable for two different ones?
You need to return the cables and get: speakon to 1/4" cables.
There are adapters for this, but it makes more sense to just get the correct cables.
