that is my mic... i use adobe to record on.. an i have friends who i get my beats from...
i wanted to start my own little studio at home so i could record more often an not have to wait on other people to be able too... i have everything i need but a mixer....
i have no idea what kinda mixer to look for, i was lookin to spend anywhere from 100 - 200 maybe up to 300 for a mixer...
the type of music that will be recorded is pretty much everything you can think of, mostly hip-hip, r&b an some guitar work,
if anyone can help me pick out a good mixer to go with my mic, that would be very helpful... thank you very much
Great little mic!
I don't think you need a mixer, you need a good Audio Interface, then you can mix everything (inside the box). No mixer needed.
You will most likely get much better results in you situation if you work this way.

Does anyone know where to get cordless sing star mics? also would europe mics work on my american PS3?
I have desperately searching for wireless sing star microphones and would love to purchase a set. Though it looks like they were only released in Europe. Does anyone know if there were released in the united states, and if not would the europe versions work on my american PS3?
I'm also in the process of looking for the Wireless Mics for Singstar, and i have found that they have not been released in north america for an unknown reason. The best i've been able to find is them on the HMV.com (UK site), but the reason I haven't ordered them yet, is they are listed as 34.99 uk pounds, which is worth double US dollar, so they would be between 60$ and 70$ us. I have the wired one already and plan to stick with them till they are released in north america.

What kind of microphone is best for singers?
I'm talking about live performances. Between a Wireless Handheld mic & and Headworn Mic. I was watching lots of k & jpop music videos, & it got me wondering why they don't always use the head worn mics. Is it because of lack of control? or something else? or is the Handheld Mic just a prop?
Most people who use head-set mics are those that need their hands for something else, and need to move around ALOT; example: dancers who sing while dancing. Can't think of any others.
Other than that, almost everyone I've seen use handheld mics either in their hands, or if their hands are busy then on a stand. Control is obviously the most important benefit. You can move away when you yell, to avoid distortion or sudden unpleasantly loud levels; can't do that on Headset Mic. On the latter, someone could lower the volume for you while you yell, but if you do yell, it'll still distort!
And for people whose hands are really free (like singers who only sing and don't play the guitar, for instance), yes the mic and its stand work as a great prop and help to add charachter to their performance. When they need their hands for any actions or whatever else, they can simply clip the mic on the stand and use it the way it's meant to!
So go for a wireless Hand Held mic. More versatile at the end of the day.

Transcribe Audio With Background Noise - An Easy Task For Professionals
Transcribe: Quality of the voice recordings for documenting it into a transcript is of paramount importance. It can be a daunting task for a transcriber to transcribe audio which has background noise or disturbances. The microphones with a condenser require Phantom Power, in a laymen's term they need an external power source and the flat frequency plus the cardioid pickup pattern these microphones are built with, capture voice without distortions.
The unidirectional Condenser Microphone is a preferred choice of many television reporters, voiceover artist or radio station disk jockeys. An investment into a quality microphone for recording interviews will provide quality audio recordings, making the task of the transcriber that much easier in providing a clean and accurate transcript.

What do i need to make a good recording on a macbook pro?
as anyone with a mac knows, it has enough software to make your own one man band. This is exactly what i intend to do lol. My names Darrell and i play guitar and sing, but i can also play the keyboard and my friend is awesome at the harmonica 
so im new to a mac and im just looking at it and my microphone wont fit into any port on here andd the on board mic makes me sound like i pigmy lol.
So... Long story short, what do i need to by for this thing so i can get my guitar, vocals, and any other instrument i feel like dishing in on here?
the thing is i have noooo clue how to work mixers or anything. i pretty much only know garage band on my mac lol. i was kinda hoping i could just plug in the mic it could pick up my voice and my guitar and kinda just go from there haha
They sell "USB Sound Cards" that will let you input any regular mic into the system.
If you want to really do it right for music though, get a Usb Mixer that supports the Mac (here is one I found with a quick Google search http://www.alesis.com/multimix8usb20).
This will allow you to mix multiple sound sources. We use them at work (on Windows systems though) for mixing multiple microphones for courtroom recordings and they work great.
