If you could re-design the Bradley what type of ATGM would you mount on it?
Within reason...no freaking sharks with freaking laser beams on their heads, no nuclear waste projecting claymores, no face hugger projectors, no holy handgrenade of Antioch......REAL and practical AT weaponry
None.
The TOW missile system (and the 2-man turret) were not infantry requirements. They were pushed on the vehicle by the Cavalry.
In the early 1970's the Army had seperate vehicle programs going on for a Cavalry scout vehicle and an Infantry vehicle. The XM800 Cav vehicle would have had a 2-man turret with missile launcher and the XM723 Infantry vehicle a 1-man turret and Full Size 9-man infantry squad. When it was decided to merge the two vehicle programs to save money the Infantry vehicle got stuck with the 2-man Cavalry turret. The extra space occupied by this turret and the stowage requirements of the missiles reduced the size of the Infantry vehicles primary weapon - its dismount squad - by 33% down to just 6 men.
From a tactical point of view giving a thin-skinned vehicle like the Brad the ability to duke it out with tanks seems suicidal as well. Against poorly trained, led and and inadequately supported conscripts the idea might be OK, but against a real enemy it seems insane. The in-action and flight time of the TOW or any other missiles is far greater than that of a tank gun.

How to disable JVC Mini DV gr-d370u built-in mic?
we are streaming with this cam through firewire & computer to ustream.tv. Our soundboard supplies sound to computer to stream, but built-in mic on cam is also picking up A/V booth conversations and streaming them also. How to disable?
Can you do anything with the PC's recording controls or the soundcard's mixer controls?

How is the JVC Mini DV Pro HD 63 minute compared to the Sony Mini DV HD 63 minute DVM63HD HDV?
I'm talking about MiniDV tapes
Basically the big difference is the size of the particles embedded on the tape itself, and the density of them. Also what lubrication compound used. If you have been using Sony tapes so far, keep using them. The heads on your camera are now coated with that kind of lube, and I have read more than a few times mixing the different manufactures blends can damage the heads. Having said all of that, I use the best, and of course the most expensive tape Sony makes.
Here is their sales pitch...
The New PHDVM63DM has all the advances that you have come to expect from Sony DigitalMASTER™:
Dual Layer of active magnetic material to produce a tape with fewer errors and less dropouts than Mini-DV tape.
30% more Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating for a more durable tape
But the PHDVM63DM has been improved especially for the demand of the new HDV recording technology:
A new Advanced Metal Evaporated II (AME-II) technology that uses a greater packing density of magnetic grains for higher output and lower noise. This results in 95% fewer errors and 60% less dropouts compared with Mini-DV tape.
An enforced DLC layer for increased durability with improved headwear and still frame characteristics.
A newly developed lubricant system to reduce friction for optimum stability under a wide range of operating conditions.
Something to consider: Errors and dropouts are hazards that appear visually as intermittent blocks that can easily ruin any project. The effects of these hazards are amplified in HDV: Because HDV records in such high density, dropouts and errors affect more frames which could potentially lead to a greater disaster than what would occur with standard definition formats.
The result, the highest quality tape made even better! And just as with the predecessors to the PHDM63DM, this tape is Sony’s best performing media for use in all Mini-DV, DVCAM & HDV applications.

It's called a microphone alligator clip but I can't find any replacements online. You may want to call the manufacturer of the mic and ask if they can send you one. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

How do I connect an MP3 output to the mic input on a PA system?
I have a PA system that plays tunes from internal memory. It has 1 microphone input only. I want to connect the output of the MP3 player to the mic input but realise the power from the MP3 is going to be too big as a mic has only a small electrical output.
The MP3output/mic input is 3.5mm
You need to get a stereo Male Adapter with a 1/4 jack female on it and a Guitar Cable at Radio Shack or some electronic store.
